At one time or another everyone needs to use a ladder to reach something that is up on a shelf to high to reach. There are times a short ladder or step stool is needed in order to reach a light fixture for a light bulb to be replaced. Other times, a fully size ladder with an extension is required in order to be able to climb up on the roof of a house.
