If this sounds anything like your plants then this article may help you to find out your problem and how to fix it. The topics that we are going to be going over today are lighting, watering and feeding of your plants.

The lighting of your plants is one of the single most important things that you have to do to ensure the success of your indoor planting setup. The proper type of lighting makes all the difference in the world. If your plants are weak looking or producing small amounts of fruits or flowers then improper lighting is more than likely your problem. To remedy most of these types of problems use either a blue spectrum LED plant grow light or a metal halide lamp for the growing stages of a plant, and either full spectrum LED grow lights or HPS grow lights for flowering stages of the plants life.

Proper watering of a plant is also a very important aspect of a healthy plant, especially if you are growing orchids. Often times people either over water a plant or don’t water it nearly enough. For most plant species the soil needs to be moist but not completely soaked. The way to obtain this is have proper drainage and good soil and to only water the plant when the sub layer is beginning to dry up slightly. Just make sure that you water the plant before the soil dries out too much.

The last common problem that people run into when trying to grow plants indoors is how to fertilize properly. Fertilization is vital to growing strong full plants that produce high flower yields. The most basic way to ensure that your plants are getting the nutrients that it needs is to premix the fertilizer in with the soil to ensure full and even saturation.
